I've been really lucky to meet awesome people through my blog whose personalities really mix well with mine. Unfortunately, they all live all over the country, with only a handful in California. I feel the same way about the stench of desperation with dating. As cool and casual as I try to be, sometimes I think it's written all over my face. Sigh. If you lived closer, I would totally hang out with you all the time and make you regret wishing you had more friends. :) I have had this problem.
